Airport

A single-engine airplane on a tarmac with clear skies and distant hills.

Located in the city of Warrenton close to US Highway 101, the Port-owned Warrenton-Astoria Regional Airport (AST) is one of the most accessible general aviation airports on the north Oregon coast. The airport is just a few minutes' drive from Astoria, and a few more minutes will get you to the South County communities of Seaside and Cannon Beach. And if it’s Washington you’re seeking, the Long Beach Peninsula is a short jaunt over the Astoria-Megler Bridge. Whatever your pleasure, whatever your business, AST’s location will limit your windshield time.

The Port of Astoria is also fortunate to call AST home to the United States Coast Guard Sector Columbia River. This USCG group provides an invaluable service and controls operations of three HH-60 helicopters and three motor lifeboat rescue stations located on the Oregon and Washington coasts.
